Recently, I had a conversation about the first camera I ever had. As I thought about this my mind jumped to the digital that my parents had gifted me in Middle School but I realized that that was not the case. In fact my first was a 35mm camera made for a child. After some searching I was finally able to get my hands on a working version of this gem (as my original had been lost to several moves over the years).

I can’t say it feels as good in hand as I remember (my hands have gotten a bit bigger since 1997) but it is still a blast to shoot. Go figure it showed up on the first big snow storm of the season.
